Sliding doors open and close large building openings along the facade in a horizontal motion. In case of particularly large and heavy gates, the door can be installed rolling on the floor track to relieve the lintel from the door weight. The advantages are obvious: low air permeability, tightness against air and water, also suitable for high wind loads, robust and mature construction, design can be matched to the facade, smooth running and minimal noise.
Smaller gates can also be designed for manual operation. From a size of 350 sqft. (~35 m²) , a BATOR drive is recommended.

The BATOR telescopic sliding door is the chameleon among industrial gates. The size of the door surface is irrelevant: the small garage opening with less than 100 sqft (10 m²) or a hangar with more than 3,000 sqft (300 m²) can be easily equipped with the BATOR telescopic sliding door. The clue: The door elements are running on various tracks and require in open position just a fraction of the overall door size.. Modern door technology that pays off.
