BATOR GROUP - Design, Engineering, Production and Maintenance
Glas Trösch (Switzerland)
The BATOR steel sliding door stands out for its perfected design and versatility. It is reliable and offers a wide range of design options, from garage doors to openings in industrial buildings. The automatic steel sliding door is often used for car parking bays, aircraft hangars, industrial buildings and warehouses. It is also a popular choice for conversions and renovations.
Doors up to 8 metres high are suspended from the lintel or ceiling. Higher doors are realised floor-supported in a threshold-free floor track. Each sliding door can be equipped with a door drive and the appropriate control unit for an unlimited number of movement cycles per day. The cost-effective BATOR Compact drive is recommended for smaller doors with a surface area of up to 20m2; the stationary BATOR LE/2 or LD/2 door drive is used for larger systems.
In terms of design, sliding doors can incorporate the pattern of the facade with a wide variety of materials. Applied sheet metal, expanded metal, panels, timber inserts, glazing or fibre-reinforced concrete elements: there are no limits to the creative possibilities. With their solid construction and silent roller glides with integrated bearings for the highest standards of durability and smooth, noiseless operation, BATOR steel sliding doors are in high demand from the public sector both at home and abroad.
BATOR sliding doors can open to the left or right on one side, while two leaf sections can be opened synchronously or asynchronously to both sides. Overhead wire cut-outs for trams and trains and integrated crane flaps are among the many options that can be provided if required. All elements such as carriages, shafts, guide rails, rolling elements and drive units are designed to run flawlessly for many decades with minimal material wear and maintenance. An investment that pays off.
